Nicole knows she was created to worship Jesus which is why she feels God wants her to teach and show this generation that we were made to Worship Him!

Mae Hagerty

Mae's love for worship dance started when she was about 14. At that time she joined a dance team at her church where she danced for 11 years. When she came to Mt Zion, she met Joanne who asked her to join the Dance Team where she served for 8 years and helped with teaching the young girls in the team. Mae and her husband Kieth of 21 years have just recently embarked on a new adventure of helping to plant a church in the Taylors area, where Mae works in the children's ministry. When the Master's School opened, Mae taught our Wee Worship Class working with the 3 - 5 year olds. Her job at MZ school as a K4 teacher for the last 13 years gives her lots of experience with the little ones. Her love for the Lord, Worship and Children is a wonderful mix as she joins us again this year as our Wee Worship teacher.

Rachel Sanders

When Rachel was just a toddler, she was enchanted by the movie The Sound of Music. From then on, she sang everywhere she could, whether it was in a leading role on stage, in church, around the house, or on the mission field. In 2008, she began studies at Furman University through vocal, academic and ministerial scholarships. While at Furman, Rachel directed and performed with the Pauper Players and sang as a scholarship vocalist in Chancel Choir. With the Furman Singers, she also toured the US east coast and Europe. In 2012, Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education with a Vocal/Choral emphasis. While she had many rich experiences at Furman, the most meaningful was at a Friday night prayer meeting, where her Heavenly Father taught her more about bringing His Kingdom to earth through worship. Since then, Rachel has worked in behavioral therapy for children on the autism spectrum, attended Worship School at Bethel Church, in Redding, CA, studied voice under Gail Schoonmaker and theater under Mimi Wyche, and has taught at South Carolina Children's Theater. She currently serves as an actor / teacher with the Applied Theater Center in Greenville. She is a mezzo-soprano with the Rivertree Singers and teaches private voice lessons. Rachel is living out her belief that the arts are meant to glorify God and are a powerful way to break down walls, build community and teach us about life.
