Joanne Brillant

Joanne is the Founder and Director of the Masterís School for Creative Arts. She has been trained in many forms of dance in the last 40+ years: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Interpretive, and Hebrew Folk Dance. She has used her dance background to express her love for the Lord in Dance Worship Ministry in the church for the past 30 years both here and in New England.†She has traveled all over the Northeast and now the Southeast doing workshops and conferences, releasing people in the gift of dance for the Lord. Joanne taught Worship dance for 3 years at The Genesis Project, a Christian Arts studio in Greenville, from there went on to open The Master's School for Creative Arts in 2006 where she has taught for the last 9 years. Joanne co-founded The Worship Dancers Alliance 14 years ago with Jami Crisman. This is an organization that unifies dancers from numerous churches in the SE for the purpose of fellowship, prayer, encouragement and training. Joanne's passion is dancing for the Lord and sharing that passion with others. Her mission is to see that anyone who desires to dance, would have the foundation they need to be released to dance at every age. She truly believes we have an Audience of only ONE.

Shanah Keyes

Shanah is the wife of Groups Pastor Adam Keyes at Bridgeway Church and is on staff there as well, she has taught for the Masters’ School in years past and also taught dance at City Church over the last 4 years. Shanah is a wonderful teacher who is able to take students of every age and skill level, put them all in a group and showcase their individual skills. We are thrilled that she is able to come and teach our children again.

Mae Hagerty

Mae's love for worship dance started when she was about 14. At that time she joined a dance team at her church where she danced for 11 years. When she came to Mt Zion, she met Joanne who asked her to join the Dance Team where she served for 8 years and helped with teaching the young girls in the team. Mae and her husband Kieth helped to plant a church in the Taylors area, where Mae works in the children's ministry. When the Master's School opened, Mae taught our Wee Worship Class working with the 3 - 5 year olds. Her job at MZ school as a K4 teacher for the last 13 years gives her lots of experience with the little ones. Her love for the Lord, Worship and Children is a wonderful mix as she joins us again this year as our Wee Worship teacher.
